Buckingham Palace

Buckingham Palace - Royal London Tour
After viewing the changing of the guard, we came to Buckingham Palace at our appointed time, which was 12:00 noon. We were given strict instructions by the attendants on hand, not to chew gum, and our cameras were sealed as we came into the palace and we were searched for security reasons like everyone else. One can see people walking about 24/7. There is always someone looking to see if they can identify a "royal" coming or going. No member of the royal family or staff are allowed to peer through the curtains out of the front windows. That is forbidden. While we were at the palace, Her Majesty was not in residence, since her personal flag was not flying. It was the Union Jack that was raised. (Photo: R. Bauer)
