Catholic Cathedral-Russia

Catholic Cathedral-Russia - Churches (German-Russian)
The historic Catholic Cathedral in Saratov, Russia was the ecclesiastical seat for the Catholic denomination in the Volga Region. Although the Catholic church was not the predominate religious body in the Volga Region, it nevertheless had a very prominent presence, especially with its churches. They were beautiful physical structures, like the Protestant churches, well constructed and made to last. The Volga Germans were mostly Protestant (or Evangelical – Lutheran and Reformed) churches by percentage. Of the 103 colonies along the Volga River Region, 65 were Protestant and the other 38 were Catholic colonies.
