This print is a copy of an original painting produced shortly after His Majesty King George V and his wife, Queen Mary ascended the Throne in 1910. Her Majesty Queen Mary wearing her favorite choker diamond and pearl necklace, diamond studded tiara and her coronation dress; while King George is wearing the full dress uniform of the Admiral of the Fleet Royal Navy in which he served in his younger years. Both the King and Queen are wearing the Order of the Garter ribbons, sash and pins. The print was seriously damaged and it has now been totally restored to its original beauty by the owner. This original beautiful print was donated to R.A. Bauer from the Ron and Sharlene Goebel family and then restored to its present beauty and now loaned to the WCHF museum by R.A. Bauer from his collection. The print size is 18” x 24”.
